1. About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of iffah.app, including the Iffah waitlist and any information or material made available through the website.

By using the website or joining the waitlist, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or submit your email address.

The Iffah mobile application has not yet launched. These Terms currently apply to the website and waitlist only. Separate or updated terms may apply when the app becomes available.

2. About Iffah

Iffah is a faith-rooted wellbeing product under development for Muslims seeking support in changing private and compulsive behaviours.

Information on the website describes our current plans and product direction. Features, designs, availability, pricing and launch dates may change during development.

Joining the waitlist does not create a paid subscription or guarantee access to the application by a particular date.

3. The waitlist

You may join the waitlist by submitting an email address that you are authorised to use.

By joining, you ask us to contact that address about Iffah’s launch. You may withdraw from the waitlist at any time by contacting hello@iffah.app or using an unsubscribe option provided in an email.

You agree not to:

• submit someone else’s email address without permission;
• submit automated, fraudulent or excessive requests;
• interfere with the operation or security of the form;
• use the waitlist to distribute spam, malware or unlawful material.

We may remove duplicate, invalid, abusive or fraudulent submissions.

4. No medical or emergency service

Iffah is not a medical provider, mental-health service, crisis service or emergency service.

The website and planned application are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical or psychological condition. They are not a substitute for qualified medical, psychological, pastoral or other professional support.

If you believe you or another person is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services or an appropriate crisis service in your location.

5. Religious information

Iffah is being designed from an Islamic perspective, but website content is provided for general informational and reflective purposes.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

• Iffah does not provide formal fatwas or personalised religious rulings;
• content should not replace guidance from an appropriately qualified scholar;
• translations and explanatory material may not convey every scholarly interpretation;
• users remain responsible for seeking qualified guidance where a matter requires a religious ruling.

We aim to handle Qur’anic and Islamic material respectfully and to identify external sources where appropriate.

6. Acceptable use

You must use the website lawfully and responsibly.

You must not:

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, server, waitlist or connected systems;
• probe, scan or test vulnerabilities without written permission;
• interfere with website availability or performance;
• introduce malware or malicious code;
• scrape or harvest waitlist information;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your connection to Iffah;
• use the website to violate another person’s privacy or legal rights;
• reproduce or commercially exploit protected Iffah materials without permission.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, its users or our legal rights.

7. Intellectual property

The website and its original materials—including the Iffah name, branding, copy, graphics, visual identity, product concepts and website design—are owned by or licensed to Iffah and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Iffah’s intellectual property to you. You may not copy, republish, distribute, sell or create commercial derivatives from protected Iffah material without prior written permission, except where applicable law expressly permits it.

“Iffah” is an Arabic word and is not claimed as our exclusive property in every general linguistic or religious use. These Terms relate to the particular branding, presentation and materials used for the Iffah product.

8. Feedback

If you voluntarily send us ideas or feedback, you permit us to consider and use that feedback to improve Iffah without an obligation to compensate you.

This does not transfer ownership of confidential materials or intellectual property that you clearly identify as belonging to you. Please do not send confidential business information or material you are not authorised to share.

9. Third-party services and links

The website may depend on or link to third-party services, including hosting, storage and Qur’anic-content providers.

We do not control unrelated third-party websites. A link does not necessarily mean that Iffah endorses every statement, product or practice of the linked service.

Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that service’s own terms and privacy policy.

10. Website availability

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that:

• it will always be available or uninterrupted;
• it will be free from every error or security vulnerability;
• all information will remain current;
• the application will launch on a particular date;
• every proposed feature will be included.

We may change, suspend or discontinue part or all of the website or waitlist where reasonably necessary.

11. Disclaimer

The website is provided on an “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no implied guarantee that website content will be suitable for every person or produce a particular wellbeing, behavioural, spiritual or recovery outcome.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:

• death or personal injury caused by negligence;
• fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
• deliberate wrongdoing;
• breach of rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Subject to those protections, Iffah will not be responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the website.

As the current website and waitlist are provided without charge, our total liability relating to the website will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as Iffah develops.

The current version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Updated terms apply from their stated effective date.

If the Iffah app launches or introduces subscriptions, accounts or other significant functionality, we will publish appropriately updated terms before those features become available.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory law in your country provides otherwise.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms, subject to any rights you have to bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.
